LOVE Dr. Kaplan and the staff was so friendly and helpful. I love this hospital. Our pets cost money, but they are so understanding when it comes to absolute necessary of procedures. They are honest and frequently give options if unable to commit to estimate of procedures. I love this staff.

Helpful and caring. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because I had to go back after 2 months and have my cats eye looked at a second time. The first diagnosis was did not help. But after the second diagnosis he is opening his eye the day after treatment number 2 with antibiotics. Thank you Dr. Meyers and team at ABC Vet.

Outstanding customer service. My dog actually loves going to the vet. She loves the welcome she gets when we walk in. ABC has to be the best vet we have ever used. Highly recommend

A bit overdue in this review but we've been here a few times and have always had a great experience. We brought our lovely, yet reckless, Husky in after she had an injury to her leg. Our usual vet wasn't available due to being overbooked. This clinic is by my boyfriend's work and they were able to take her for a drop off appointment. The staff was very friendly and understanding of our girl's needs, she's reactive to dogs so they were promptly brought into the room to avoid any issues in the lobby. The tech Becky was great with getting all Kairo's information and letting us know how things would go. They were amazing at keeping us up to date on her care and treatments. Kairo ended up needing surgery to stitch up her leg. The overall cost was reasonable as well, she's needed a few surgies over the years, two for similar injuries, and this was the cheapest of them all. We love our general vet but we will have ABC as our backup in case anything happens on a weekend or if they are booked out and we need to get anything updated for our pets.

After years of trusting this business with care for our beloved, but admittedly difficult pup, we finally decided to find a different provider. Why? 1. Our dog has become increasingly anxious after each visit - to the point that he now has to be muzzled and carried in to the facility. He used to open minded until the exam started. Not anymore. Although he has had anxiety and defensive aggression since we rescued him, I don’t feel the team here has offered solutions in mitigating the stress. I also cannot imagine that he is the most difficult dog that they see during the 6 months between our visits. The absolute worst part is that I have overheard comments from one particular nurse that clearly stated he was a chore and that they would rather not deal with him. I find it unacceptable to talk trash about a fur patient, regardless of if you think you can’t be heard behind semi-closed doors, or how difficult he is. If you can’t handle the task, be up front and let us know we should find a better equipped facility. 2. This was the kicker that prompted us find a new option. We got a notice that our guy was due for a senior dog test panel. Long story short, their plan to extract urine from his bladder did not go smoothly. They were not able to achieve what I would imagine is a fairly routine task. Not equipped to handle a 50lb dog that is simply terrified about the experience was an unsettling sign. Worse, was that after they failed to complete the task, the admin/nurse came out to ask why we were even asking for the panel to be conducted. Excuse me? You prescribed it and set the appointment. If it was not necessary, then why tell us that is was and put the dog through unnecessary stress?? 3. This is why I am ultimately leaving this negative review. When we finally switched vets I brought a noticed from ABC that was mailed to us letting us know which vaccines were due. When the new doctor reviewed ABCs records, she noticed that a few of the vaccines that ABC has been scheduling annually are actually three year vaccines. So we have been tripling up vaccines, spending extra money, and adding stress to our little guy for no good reason. At best, this is incompetence or unacceptable lack of attention to detail. At worst, it is absolutely predatory and unethical. I am giving two stars because there was one doctor here that at one point really seemed to care, however I am not sure she is still there because the last 2-3 visits displayed an embarrassing level of incompetence and/or lack of empathy/care. The care at the new facility that we chose is night and day better. They are understanding of, and willing to work with our pup and have gone out of their way to make him feel safe. I know he isn’t the easiest patient, but they express zero doubts that they can offer the care he needs and deserves. Truly, I wish I could say the same for ABC.
