the staff is great and friendly. Doctor Gill is knowledgeable. They are mostly available even on Saturdays Easily reachable by call. Very well managed hospital. I took 1 star off for the cost of service, a little expensive. Otherwise a great provider.

Easy to get an appointment. Staff and doctors are kind and caring. Spent quality time with my new puppy and explained everything very well, even thoughtful about cost and went over everything in detail before providing services.

AAH always takes great care of my two pugs. I think a member of the office staff needs additional training. She doesn’t appear to be new but she’s always confused and makes a lot of mistakes. Thankfully, the rest of the team always recovers and makes it right.

We’ve been with Dr Gill over 30 years with all our dogs. There’s no one better in knowledge, guidance and compassion.

If I could rate negative stars, I would. Get a blood-glucose meter and see for yourself. Dr. Gill tried to tell me it had to be a special device (so I'd spend another $500 with him) but I used a cheap human meter and it was just as accurate. In the end, he admitted he lied. Nothing more useless than a doctor not interested in healing, but the dollar instead. Worthless. It's a racket, if you avoid dog food & treats, typically loaded with cheap veggies, grains, etc., (even the junk they'll try & sell you for $4+ a can, ironically fresh meat is cheaper & better) which have even a low glycemic index, the pancreas of dogs & cats cannot keep up with the excessive glucose in the blood (test! use the strips & meter!) causing issues with the kidneys & liver that struggle to filter the perceived toxin (glucose) sortof bleeding into where it can because it's in the blood, like the corneas (blueing in the eyes is pre-cataracts, test blood glucose if you see even the faintest clouding) and ears (infection & discharge), you'll avoid most issues that everyone seems to talk about as 'common' or 'normal'. Vets are ripping us all off, even paying top price, they simply want more, knowing the fate of our beloved fuzzy friends. Our pets can eat fleshy meat (raw is best but cook bird meat unless it's a fresh kill or freeze dried) & organ meat (I used dried chicken hearts, beef lung, lamb liver, and whole rabbit reduced to little nuggets for essential vitamins, replacing the toxic treats) and they live much longer & healthier, and especially happier (you will see the difference in weeks) without having a vet manipulating you. Dr. Gill knew all of this & only sees opportunities to sucker for service, rather than saving my pet. I'd have gladly paid more to learn this stuff from an honest version of him without losing my dog, whom I loved dearly. It would have been guaranteed business for years to come, his greed works in reverse for his efforts... I learned my dog was severely diabetic while getting blood work done for his teeth cleaning, ~1500$, then other exams in order to get antibiotics or basic ointments equating ~1000$, plus other various charges that I had no problem paying over the course of about 6 months. Dr. Gill said my dog had 'days or weeks' but I had another 6 months with him once I started thinking for myself and my dog vs. relying on his words. In the end, I tried to ask about euthanasia after getting overcharged for Clavomox (was $30, then $50, it's like 600mg Amoxicillin suspended in a solution to make it taste less bad, talk about blood-suckers), the day before Thanksgiving '23, I was told 'we don't do charity!' and he hung up, as though I was asking for something for free, or as though they'd ever been charitable to me. My dog died the next day, and I couldn't find an open vet on turkey-day so it was 'natural'. I had some of my medication to help but he died slowly and with much suffering. My theories proved correct, I finally got his blood sugar within range the day before he died. It took about a month of the carnivore diet, which he loved and deserved. Dr. Gill's suggestions left my dog's sugar no less than 600 for over 4 months. I seriously don't think he actually cared, he just wanted to sell more. Maybe he sold his soul? Or maybe he doesn't have one? Why me and my dog? Prejudice? Maybe because I'm a disabled veteran, I'll never know for sure, unless I interrogate him... 'Thanks' a bunch!
