The email was so helpful because it allowed me to have a better understanding of her condition and the recommended procedure. The email also gave me something to reference (besides my memory) when discussing the procedure and expectations with my family.
Lilly and the rest of the team were very friendly, patient and helpful.

Sparky and I love going to the Bernardo Heights Veterinary Hospital; we know we will receive the help we need every time. Sparky had his ACL surgery there and just recently was seen for an unidentified sharp object in his stomach.
My stress was put to ease in every visit; doctors explain everything in full detail and break it down in terms you can understand without any pressure or
gimmicks.
You’re also greeted with a smile and receive great service from everyone there.
They’re honest and open about their pricing and provide all the information you need prior to surgery or examinations.
The staff love Sparky and they treat him so very well. I recommend this place to any fur baby parent.

Lucy had an abscess tooth and received excellent care. Affordable fees. Nice people. We are very pleased with our experience here. Will drive from Oceanside any time Lucy needs medical care in the future.

Exceptional veterinary care! We drove four hours for our second TPLO surgery because of our trust in this practice. With a successful past experience and no local surgeons meeting our standards, we chose them for their expertise and accredited facilities. Their compassion towards pets and owners alike is truly heartwarming. Even our more difficult dog felt at ease under their care. What's more, their honesty is unparalleled; they charged us less than the estimate due to unnecessary procedures, a gesture of integrity we deeply appreciate. Highly recommended for their professionalism, expertise, and genuine care.

Two of my cats were recommended a dental cleaning during their yearly check up at a different pet hospital. The estimate came up much higher than what I expected, so I decided to consult another vet and get a second opinion. After looking up and reading the online reviews, I decided to take them to Bernardo Heights Veterinary Hospital. I had a very good first impression and their estimate was definitely more reasonable and realistic. I also very much appreciate the fact that they are AAFP Certified and have a separate area for cats.
Both cats had their dental cleaning and one of them needed a couple of extractions. Everything went well and smoothly with both. Everyone at BHVH was great from the first contact until the last post procedure call/checkup. The staff were friendly, responsive and efficient. Dr. Roberto was very professional examining the cats, very calm, gentle and attentive. Shout out to Sandy, who was our nurse both times and was great explaining the procedure and suggesting how to better care for their dental health.
I had a very positive experience with them all around and felt like my cats were well taken care of.
