We have been going to Lakeside dog groomers for many years, and would never want to go anywhere else, the girls, Lois, Susan and Sara do a fantastic job on our very hairy (!) King Charles Cavalier/pom, Tucker. He comes out so beautiful every time! These girls can be fully trusted to take good care of your babies. Tucker gives them the 👍 too. 🐕

Full disclosure: I'm hard to please. That being said, I do feel like they could've done better.
Pros: the employees are very nice ladies that seem to really care about the animals feelings which is the most important to me. They are also fairly priced. My poor dog was super matted and her nails hadn't been cut probably ever (we rescued her from a very neglectful owner and were waiting to get her groomed after she was comfortable with us and more acclimated to her new home. I thought it would be less traumatic for her this way.) they definitely got the knots out and her nails are nice and short.
Cons: They cut my dogs whiskers and eyelashes off! I'm so irritated about this! My dog had long beautiful eyelashes! Whatever I guess that's fine I probably should've told them I wanted her eyelashes to stay long but her whiskers shouldn't have been but cut and to me that feels like something they should know. Also the haircut is just ugly. Her ears are cut very blunt but again I probably should've given them some direction. I didn't know a bad haircut was possible on a dog but I'm here to tell you it is!
I'll give them one more try in the future and this time I'll be more clear about what I don't want them to do and hopefully things will look better.

Jan has been doing my cats for the past 25 years and I only trust Jan with my babies! These girls at Lakeside rock and do the greatest work ever!! I don't trust anyone but these girls to keep my boys for the day! Hands down best around!

My dog is usually shy and nervous going to the doctor, groomer etc. From day 1 , Jan has been our answer to prayers that he will feel comfortable and someone we can trust. She is the best!!!!!

Always open for appts. Curbside pickup/dropoff( covid) for Slinky. Done in 1 1/2 hrs. Women are so sweet. Great with dogs. Professional all the way. Inexpensive like some groomers .. Cash/ check only.. No card.. ❤️ this place..
