What a relief to have found a vet center we trust with our animal family members! After the lackluster attention our rescue chihuahua mix received from a pricy Eastlake vet center, a vet tech there recommended Pacific Pet (where they bring their dogs). It was easy to get an appointment at PP, and as a new patient Whiskey's initial wellness exam was only $38. The front desk staff were unhurried, friendly and helpful. The vet nurse was professional and warm. She took time to get to know us and to hear all my concerns. Dr. Humphrey then examined Whiskey. He also took time to respond to all my questions and provided helpful info and insights. A needle biopsy was necessary, but PP had the capacity to perform it and to analyze/diagnose the results within an hour. I highly recommend Pacific Pet.

Between all the visits we’ve done, we highly recommend this vet office! We are always met with top care & quality. They go above and beyond for their clients.

I called for a wellness exam for both my dogs and they got us in the same week and took really good care of my girls. Terry was so helpful and friendly over the phone, she really listened to our needs and was helpful for any questions I had. We will be back for any of our dogs needs in the future, thanks again!

Most of the staff at Pacific Pet Hospital are kind and seem to care for animals, but I personally wouldn't take another dog there. I took my dog there for many years. She began gaining weight years ago, and so I paid to have her tested repeatedly. There were times that I'd take her 2-3 times consecutively because the vet suggested another test or ultrasound. Being that he's the vet, I trusted his recommendations. But after so many tests, I was still not receiving any answers. I just kept being told it's probably just her old age, and her metabolism has slowed down. She kept gaining weight, her stomach was getting harder, and her liver enzymes were elevated. Yet still, with every test, there were no real answers. It got to a point where I couldn't afford it and they were suggesting I have her retested for the same things she was already tested for. But supposably more thorough tests, which honestly upset me because why weren't the thorough tests being done in the first place? I eventually realized that although they were kind, it was more about the money, and my dog's health was being overlooked and her symptoms disregarded. A few months ago, while I was at her last appointment, I received an estimate of about $2000 after I had already taken her twice that month. I held off on those tests. Well, my dog passed away recently, and it turns out she had 3 diseases contributing to her weight gain. I was extremely upset and sad when I received the call from the emergency vet telling me that she had Diabetes, Kidney Disease, and Cushing's Disease, and had also developed Pneumonia due to her constant throwing up that morning. To sit there and be told that even if she were to go through treatment, she might not survive the night, really broke me. I was dumbfounded and angry that the vets there kept telling me it was possibly just old age, that I needed to cut her food portion, and make her exercise more. I was made to feel as though I was over feeding her and allowing her to be lazy when that was not the case. She may have been a senior dog, but had she been diagnosed, she may have lived longer. Now I'll never know, and I'll never have the chance to have even attempted to give her the proper care. I miss her very much.
