We love Palomar Animal Hospital for our two bunnies. When you have bunnies it is important to go to a vet that has experience and understands them because they are considered exotic pets. We have seen two of the vets (Dr Knox and Dr Nissen) there for several years and couldn’t be happier. Hank and Dorothy are very skittish buns who hate leaving the house. PAH is always quick, efficient, and kind with their care. It has always been easy making appointments but they also have an online scheduling feature which is amazingly convenient. Also, shout-out to the staff who are welcoming, patient, and knowledgeable :)

I’ve been taking Bleu to Palomar since I adopted him 7yrs ago. The vets are amazing and take great care of Bleu. It’s all of the vet techs and staff that keep us coming back. Sonia is a favorite. Everyone is the best.

They take the best care of our delicate Doberman 💗. We were out of the country and had a stressful pup emergency. The staff and vets were so easy to communicate with across the globe. And they coordinated the best care for our dog while he was with a sitter. So grateful for this team!

It’s so hard to find a vet you can trust with your furr baby. I finally found one. Dr Knox and her assistant were great with my new rescue, very knowledgeable, and made us both feel comfortable. I will be bringing my other two pups in as well. Thank you!!

I have a rabbit, and at my last vet, I felt he was handled too roughly. After my first visit to Palomar Animal Hospital, I knew they were a major improvement. Theo was calm because the staff was gentle, knowledgeable, and kind. They even had a rabbit treat for him and gave me so much great care advice. He didn’t even react to his vaccination because of how well they handled him. Thanks to them, the vet won’t be a stressful experience for Theo anymore!
