Update: I still go here and they do a really good job. It normally takes 2 - 2.5 hours for my fluff which is great because we don't like being a part! Haha Thank you =) Photos= most fluff is 8 weeks after cut (I trim his face in between and brush him), and bowtie is fresh cut). Original: They do a really good job with my dog, Bellamy. They listen to all my requests and are happy to clarify if they have questions. I like that I can see Bellamy being groomed from the waiting area. Plus his hair cuts have come out super cute! I like watching dog grooming on YouTube so I was happy to find a place that has similar cute results as some of the really popular channels.

My one star review does not reflect how this business treats animals or grooms animals. I was never able to get to the appointment. This review reflects the apparent business practices. I unfortunately had to reschedule my appointment unexpectedly day of and I understand that people have policies for such things and I really didn’t want to reschedule my appointment. I just physically couldn’t be there. I called to reschedule A number of hours before my appointment, This conversation went well and smooth, The woman on the phone was understanding and was able to reschedule my appointment for the very next day , less than 24 hours later than my original appointment. Great! She was very helpful as I really wanted to get my cat groomed. Then about two minutes later, I received a call from Paw alley from a man, He stated, kind of rudely and abrupt, even though this was our very first conversation, That I would lose the $50 deposit I put on the appointment For my existing appointment, A little annoyed for me, but understandable, But then he said I needed to give another $50 for the new appointment. Although I do understand where they are coming from, As a new client coming into an appt, I did not cancel my appointment. I rescheduled my appointment for the very next day. And in my experience with pretty much every other appointment scheduling I’ve ever made or rescheduled in my life, Deposit for one appointment is transferable to when you get to that appointment. With the incredible attitude that this man had with me not ever having a previous conversation with me and me, trying to figure out what I can do, Trying to figure out if I could be there to pick her up, And I definitely can’t, which is why I called. I called back and said just to cancel both appointments And I will find a different groomer And never come in. He seemed very satisfied with that answer, It really doesn’t seem like they want the business or care about getting the business, And that they just don’t want to deal with people or any inconvenience. Had this person Been kind and understanding and not just try to get a bunch of cash out of me, they would’ve made a regular Client out of me for my 3 animals. It really bums me out that a business would treat new clients this way like I was very excited and I really wanted to get her groomed, And I chose them out of other groomers in town, And I really just felt like they wanted me to cancel. So instead of transferring a deposit which every other business would do Regardless of trade, they now lost out of the pay for the grooming, and also the groomer lost out on their tip, which sucks. I work in the service industry I live on Tips and I understand other people do In many different fields. And because of this guy’s weird reaction and this business’s Policies, Their employees probably are suffering. I did not have a problem paying a rescheduling/cancel fee, They didn’t even ask me to they said the women would waive it because it was a first time. I’m not trying to negate a deposit. I just don’t understand why it wouldn’t transfer to my appointment that I rescheduled not cancelled.

I’ve been bringing my dog King here for years! And even my cat a few times! I’m a vet tech so I know the ins and outs of animal care, and they always take great care of my boy. When I first brought him in he didn’t like his nails getting cut and I would have to sedate him at home to do them myself. But the owner Jeff took the time to condition King to be okay with getting his nails done, it was a little tough for them at first Im sure but they cared enough to make it a good experience for him and now they have no issues doing them! We had some bad experiences in the past finding a groomer who cared, but now King is always super excited to see his friends at paw alley! I always recommend this place to all my friends in and out of the veterinary field. Thank you Jeff!!

When I lived in Southern CA this shop was introduced to me by my daughter 11 years ago and was my go to place for my dog. The previous owner used to groom my dog like she was a show dog and they continue to do the same. There is a new owner and it still felt like I never left. Everyone really cares for your fur-babies, prices are great, I even noticed if your dog has any skin issues you can bring your own shampoo/conditioner or whatever your vet prescribed. We've recommended Paw Alley to many folks as well... Thank you everyone at Paw Alley, you're the best!!

This place used to be great but not anymore. Today, we dropped off our dog for a grooming. She used to run in and barely say goodbye. Today, she borderline cried and was shaking when my wife dropped her off. My wife then called me, and we talked to the staff on the phone who gave us a bunch or excuses as to why and they explained that she's totally ok. Being a tough dog, I gave Paw Alley the benefit of the doubt. When I picked her up, she was happy as can be to see me, and we got out of there. As I'm inspecting her (mediocre at best) haircut, I noticed this scrape on her nose... see the photo. This place simply doesn't have the same quality staff that they used to have. The last haircut, they shaved her private area too short and cut her, and today it was her nose. Please save your pets from these people!!! This is probably around the 10th time we've been here, and we will never come back. Update: I called and explained the situation, and they refunded my money.
