My dog was bitten at their daycare. Initially, we were charged for the resulting vet care. They would not give us the info to contact the owners of the offending dog, nor would they contact them on our behalf, even though the law clearly states that if a dog attacks another dog, the owners of the offending dog are responsible for any ensuing vet care. After a ridiculous process, our vet charges were eventually refunded. It is absolutely beyond my understanding why a business like this would even do such nonsense in the first place. A simple fix is to have daycare users sign an agreement that if their dog causes injury to another dog during daycare, they are responsible for vet care charges. My experience is that they have terrible business practices and expensive vet fees. The clinic manager is not a good customer service person, and it shows by the poor customer service skills of some of the employees.

I have had a couple of good experiences here. My dog had an abscess in her mouth that turned out to be a tumor. The vet provided us with several options including doing nothing because she was an old dog and no pressure to pursue surgery, etc. A few years later when she needed to be put down they were very caring and compassionate. I plan on bringing our pets here in the future.

We we took our six-year-old bunny, Butterscotch, to this VCA Vet Hospital this morning to have her health evaluated. From the front office staff to Asst Malika, and Dr. Thomas, we felt comfortable and well cared for. (LOL) And as for “Miss B”, We could not have been happier with her care and attention. Jim & and I were concerned that she had gotten sick after losing her sister last month. Personality had changed and she was losing her hair. We are so glad she is healthy but maybe grieving her sister’s loss. I am happy to give this Hospital and Dr. Thomas and staff my highest recommendation.

Comfortable waiting room, helpful receptionist. Relief areas for dogs outside. Professional & knowledgeable staff happy to answer questions. Nurse and Veterinary Doctor explained symptoms and possibilities related to our pet's illness. Unfortunately after x-ray & diagnosis, our pet had a degenerative terminal illness, and the only logical solution was to humanely euthenize (I decided). I deeply appreciate the patience and compassion shown by the Doctor, nurse and attending staff at Acacia. The sincerity and compassion spoke volumes to us.

Dr. Schauer is so incredibly thorough with both our dogs and cats! She read over the entirety of their transfer records before the first appt and was very familiar with their medical history before meeting them. She’s up to date on the latest diagnostics and tests available. She’s also personable, friendly and you can tell she absolutely loves what she does. All the other staff we’ve interacted with are lovely as well - too many to list. They help us get to the room quickly, ask if we want help out and the place is spotless/clean. Love the hospital manager who keeps it all together! We are excited to start doggy day camp in a few weeks.
