This California Privacy Notice supplements our Privacy Notice for California residents. It is provided where applicable to your residency, or as a courtesy if not strictly required. The California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA") and California Privacy Rights Act ("CPRA") apply to businesses meeting statutory thresholds (annual gross revenue over $25 million; buying, selling, or sharing personal information of 100,000 or more California residents or households annually; or deriving 50% or more of annual revenue from selling or sharing California residents' personal information). We may not currently meet any of these thresholds; we publish this notice regardless so California residents understand our practices.

2. Sources and purposes

Sources: directly from you, automatically via your browser, and from third parties (Google Places, Apify) for business listings. Purposes: see the Privacy Notice § 2.

3. Categories shared or disclosed for business purposes

Categories A, B, D, F, G, and L are shared with the subprocessors listed in the Privacy Notice § 3 strictly for business purposes (hosting, email, OTP, analytics).

4. Sale and sharing of personal information

We do not "sell" personal information as that term is defined under CCPA/CPRA. We do not "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We have not sold or shared the personal information of any consumer (including consumers under 16) in the past twelve months.

To exercise any of these rights, email legal@local.pet. We verify requests by matching the requesting email to an account on file. Because we operate exclusively online, we accept requests by email only and do not maintain a separate toll-free number. We will acknowledge your request promptly and respond substantively within 45 days; if a request requires more time we may extend by an additional 45 days on notice to you, consistent with the CCPA/CPRA timeline.

6. Authorized agents

You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. The agent must provide proof of authorization (signed permission, power of attorney) and we may verify the consumer's identity directly.
