Pepper Grove — Pet-Friendly Parks in San Diego

Love this playground, but not hardly any shade on the actual play structures so definitely have sunscreen and hats for the kids. The park is beautiful with the older/grown trees and great shade for a picnic, but the playground is not shaded and can get very hot mid-day. . I love that there is a nice sand pit and two separate play structures for both smaller and older kids to enjoy and swings. It's a very easy walk to the museums at Balboa and shares parking with the Fleet Science center.
