Stitch Veterinary Urgent Care and Surgery — Veterinarians in San Diego

Stitch Veterinary Urgent Care took care of my dog Hardy the day before I left out of town on a trip to Japan. Dr. Gabourel was the on-call physician who took care of Hardy. Hardy had a fox tail in his ear and a it became infected. They took me in the back to view his procedure and introduced me to the lovely technician who were treating him as well. The clinic is IMMACULATE. So clean, I couldn’t even find pet hair on the ground. My dog is highly aggressive with other dogs, the staff take every precaution to prioritize other patients’ safety around Hardy. This is my go-to urgent care for my dog. Just from our one/first visit I trust them IMPLICITLY to care of Hardy. Dr. Gabourel established great rapport with me, educated me on her procedures and had excellent bedside manner allowing me to trust her with my dog. Take your pet here for the absolute best urgent veterinary care. Bonus: they have water, tea, coffee and snacks for pet owners while you wait!
