VCA Animal Specialty Group — Veterinarians in San Diego

I’m not sure why the Google rating isn’t higher, because we’ve honestly had wonderful experiences at this VCA location. Our baby girl, Nestle, was diagnosed with lymphoma in May '25 and completed a full round of CHOP treatment here. Unfortunately, she returned for a second round about a month ago. Dr. Benz and the nurses (Ashley, Gemma, and Alex) all love and care so much about her. Even though Nestle gets scared and anxious during visits, she seems comfortable going to the backroom with them, which means a lot to us. My wife and I truly feel she is in great hands with the oncology team. Dr. Benz is incredibly kind and empathetic, always providing thorough updates and answering all of our questions. Even the front desk team, especially Sherrie, who we deal with the most, is friendly and always welcoming. We are very grateful for the care and compassion they have shown our family.
